This neck-thru-body guitar at 25.5” scale has a thin u-shaped three-piece mahogany neck and mahogany body wings, and includes single-ply white binding on the body, neck, and matching-finish reversed headstock. Its Macassar ebony fingerboard has ESP flag inlays and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Black hardware components on the Phoenix-1001 include LTD locking tuners, and a TonePros TOM locking bridge and tailpiece. The versatile and dynamic pickup on the Phoenix-1001 is the Seymour Duncan Custom 14, a new pickup made exclusively for ESP that offers high output and extraordinary tonal balance with mind-blowing articulation and clarity, and is splittable with a push-pull control on the tone knob.
